Great balanced strain for pain and relaxation, not so much for sleep I asked my prescriber for this since I read that the Cherry Jam cultivar contained in Gamma Thirty is a descendant of AK-47 (the only strain I've ever found that helped my sciatic nerve pain). Gamma Thirty is an excellent balanced strain that relaxes, helps with (but does not eliminate) pain, and may be a good sleep strain for new MC patients. I don't find it terribly sleepy and in fact is a pretty good afternoon strain. I like this better than the Althea 25 and will continue using it. So far I have been impressed with Upstate's offerings.

Id compare its effects to topaz , not quite as heavy hitting but i find topaz pretty harsh . This is not as harsh can ve used as a great afternoon or everning flower ideal for paim realief and insomnia . I wouldnt consume this before doing anything if importance though as it does leave you feeling quite spaced out and relaxed . Helps produce a great sleep aswell overall amazing flower cheers upstate

I first opened my container disappointed to not be initially hit with the expected "Cherry Jam" scen... But once I'd burped that bad Boi with some air I was hit with a nice subtle spicy, cherry jam scent. There does seem to be a "jammy" tartness on exhale as well as far as flavour goes. The buds while dryish are decent in size ranging from around the size of 2 .50 cent pieces (1.5 gram) to your typical popcorn-ish buds (nothing too small as if the product of degradation). Regardless of all that I'm here for the medical effects. This melts away my post chemo nerve pains, it also seems to loosen up my collapsed veins (or subsidize the pain from them). While I wouldn't take this strain with a "plate full" it provides a very nice balanced hybrid effect where you feel the ball is in your court - wanna lay down and let the body stone set in go for it, wanna get creative it's not gonna hold you back. I would call this a great afternoon strain. My current afternoon partner x

To call this flower a disappointment would be an understatement. It is the typical Upstate hard as a rock and dry as a bone flower. I didn't mind the Delta one for its effects, this Gamma thirty though is the worse medical cannabis I have tried in around 30 strains. Upon opening the jar a sickening smell of fish greeted me causing me to gag. I hoped that it's effects would at least be worth it, wrong!, though my volcano and mighty + this cannabis has zero medical effects. It does create one of the nastiest headaches I've ever had, just like the Beacon Pink Kush from 2021. For some reason it doesn't give a headache when rolled in a joint, it still has almost no effects on me at all. After the 3rd Upstate night cart died, I found Montu to be absolutely no help at all. I am now left with these sorry excuses for medical cannabis that I cannot use. That's $270 worth of Montu products that will go in the bin as they definetely won't take either back. Alternaleaf and Montu deserve every bit of hate they get, I am nearly finished with medical cannabis because of this company and products that should not be sold as medical.

On opening and first appearance tub looks great, the initial smell when open is mouth watering but not the strongest smell. The flowers are almost perfect dryness, can chip with scissors ,blender or grinder and it really fluffs out. I didn't notice any major taste or effect instantly but while having a second straight after the first one came on and it was a nice creeper . Being Cherry jam was sort of expecting a slight cherry taste but just a normal weed taste . Flowers look amazing under light colours and crystal galore. In comparison to the sundaze supa nova 26% in my opinion the sundaze is better but not saying that the gamma isn't good I did enjoy it and it did help with anxiety and sleep. it says it's a hybrid but not what % of indica . Overall I would recommend to the new smoker looking for help with sleep pain and anxiety.

They took topaz off their website and shoved this in my hands. Had a few tubs from different batches and all had the same issue. Effects were equal to a 18% strain and I felt like I needed to redose every 25 mins. I would have some before bed, and by the time I got into bed and got ready to sleep I would feel nothing. Upstate was a letdown for how cool the packaging looked with the black tub and all. Bad trim, dry, lots of shake, you get the point. Avoid this

Would be nice if they were not so dry and had a better smell They were very dense good size and nice looking. Upon having some, it was a little harsh but I felt relaxed, almost pain free and the stress from the day just went away. I give it a 5* due to its effects.
