When I first joined I paid something like $280.00 on the understanding all future follow up appointments were included in that cost. Not long after, CA Clinics changed that policy and wanted to charge for future consultations. I spoke out against that given this was contrary to how I had joined. It was therefore written into my records I would receive no charge for future consultations. This was good, but means I now have to to through an approval process every time I want a new prescription. It takes time to book this follow up consultation over the phone only to then have more time added to get this approval for no added cost. I don't like the approval seeking or the additional time required to book everything. This can take an hour or more on the phone making the booking process problematic. Then they have a monopolised chemist which provides good product and service but the cost of both THC and CBD can get expensive. CBD for instance at $290.00 a 50 ml bottle at 100 mg/ml concentration. Similar price for THC of $250.00 per 50ml bottle of 26mg/ml. Was able to get an alternative THC product of similar concentration for $110.00 which was good. But the CBD remains expensive. Need to be vigilant in asking the prescribing Doctor to provide good concentrations of product at reasonable cost. If you don't do this you will end up paying significantly more for similar type concentration of product. Can ask the Doctors to re-prescribe at lower cost product and they will do it, but this takes more time. Overall, CA Clinics provide good product that work well with my conditions. Cost can get expensive without strong vigilance in asking for what you want. Time consuming booking processes can be improved.
