SUPPLIER UPDATE: “Good not Great” Price Reduction

the recommended retail price of the THC-16 Indica (cultivar: Northern Lights #5) has been reduced by over 15% for remaining stock across the following batches:

The intention was for this product to be the cornerstone of the #EqualAccess framework, whereas a high-quality strain with broad use and an amazing terpene profile was available at an affordable price.  While the feedback on price and efficacy of the product has been overwhelmingly positive, the moisture content, along with ‘shake & stem’ content, is below the standard our patients deserve.  This product is good not great.  Patients deserve consistently great.

With that said, the label claims still stands and we are proud of the terpene profile and minor cannabinoids of this strain.  And, while the product is still efficacious for the management of a number of conditions, we are committed to ensuring our products meet our internal standards and the broader market’s expectation.

Why is the reason for the price drop?

Moisture content is lower than many patients prefer.

Is this short stock (i.e. close to expiration date)?

No.  the listed date on the three batches ranges from two to four month of remaining shelf life.

That this mean the product is no longer effective?

Not at all.  The product still delivers all label claims.

Can the flower still be vaporised?

Yes.  In fact, “little moisture” is preferable to “too moist” when vaping.

Can moisture be restored to the flower?

Adding a Boveda pack to your product can certainly assist in restoring the flower to a more optimal moisture.

Can my doctor access this product?

Yes, it is available for any doctor in Australia to prescribe via the SAS process, or by an Authorised Prescriber.
