To start off my only previous experience with oils has been with Rick Simpson oil a few years ago (which was great) and then a few types of CBD oils from America which didn’t seem to do anything. I’ve currently experimented with doses between the 0.4-0.6ml mark and have found that it doesn’t treat my pain like certain flowers do but surprisingly had a positive effect on my mood. There was weak to mild body relaxation however the antidepressant effect really surprised me, I felt light hearted and didn’t get the usual spiralling anxiety that I’d get with other cerebral dominant cannabis products but instead was able to shrug off negative thoughts. The only downsides in my case was that despite the positive feelings I found my attention span was diminished so whilst I could enjoy a movie, I wasn’t able to read a book and focus. The other thing was that even though I didn’t experience any anxiety, I was still a little too stimulated when it came time for bed so this seems like a product that’s best reserved for mornings or daytime use. Of course this is all highly subjective, but so far I’ve found this oil to be great for improving depression and avoiding the anxiety that comes along with most energising cannabis products. I would currently recommend it for uplifting mood as opposed to treating pain, as the physical relaxation was minimal for me.
